YOUR DESIGN. PROFESSIONALLY PRINTED WITH DTF.

Get A Custom currently offers Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing only. DTF is a modern, high-precision apparel decoration process that produces vivid, full-colour prints with exceptional durability across cotton, polyester, blends, and fleece.

What Is Direct-to-Film (DTF) Printing?

Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing involves printing your digital artwork directly onto a specialized clear PET transfer film using high-grade water-based textile inks. A hot-melt adhesive powder is applied to the wet ink and cured under calibrated heat.

Once ready, the cured transfer is thermally pressed onto your chosen garment under high pressure. The result is a vibrant, flexible print that bonds directly to the fabric fibers without cracking or peeling.

Full-Color Without Color Restrictions

Print photographic artwork, subtle drop shadows, and complex multicolored graphics without extra per-color setup charges.

Superior Stretch & Wash Durability

The cured adhesive polymer flexes naturally with the garment fabric and withstands repeated laundry cycles.

Works on Cotton, Poly & Heavy Fleece

Unlike DTG which prefers 100% cotton, DTF adheres cleanly to dark and light garments across polyester, poly-blends, and fleece.

Step-by-Step

How Your Project Moves From Artwork to Finished Garment

01

Digital File Preparation

We calibrate your high-resolution artwork (PNG, PDF, or vector format) to ensure sharp lines and faithful color output.

02

PET Film Print & White Underbase

Specialized DTF printers print CMYK colors backed with an opaque white ink underbase so colors pop on dark garments.

03

Adhesive Powdering & Heat Cure

Thermoplastic adhesive powder is distributed over the wet ink and baked in a heat tunnel to create a resilient transfer.

04

Calibrated Garment Heat Press

The transfer is applied to your garment using industrial pneumatic heat presses with exact temperature and dwell time.
